Founding Team

Brian Richmond
General Counsel / President of Operations / Co-founder
Brian Richmond began a career of service to the people by joining the U.S. Army. From there Brian has gone on to have a very successful career as an Attorney, where he has worked both the private as well as public sectors, serving clients from small to large, rather it be representing a client in court, taking on the federal government for a client in a regulatory case, or negotiating a multi-million-dollar business deal. Brian worked as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Kentucky based in Greater Cincinnati. This area has been ground zero of the opioid crisis. He has prosecuted and defended individuals in this battle against American families. Brian quickly realized that treatment for the average offender, not incarceration, was the only way to achieve any progress. He also led from the front as the City Administrator of a town on the shores of the Ohio River that was devastated by the crisis, overseeing every aspect of enforcement and emergency response. This experience has made our company a major player in the opioid fight as we promote several of our tests to drug treatment and pain management clinics. Most recently, Brian proudly served in an Executive capacity at the will of his friend Governor Matt Bevin of the Commonwealth of Kentucky until November of 2017, at which time he resigned to take on his full-time Executive role with Syncier and was subsequently appointed by the Governor to Chair the Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health Commission. Brian is married with three children and resides in the Greater Cincinnati area.
